Mohammad Rabby Mridha’s directorial debut “Pay Tolay Mati Nai”, which has garnered acclaim at prestigious film festivals around the world, received an uncut certificate of censorship on Monday.
Produced by Abu Shahed Emon, the film stars popular actor Mostafa Monwar, Priam Archi and national award-winning actor Deepanwita Martin.


The film echoes the impact of environmental changes on personal life.
“Pay Tolay Mati Nai” screened at 14 renowned film festivals, including Busan International Film Festival (BIFF 2021) in Korea, IFFSA Toronto. South Asia International Film Festival 2022 in Canada, MIFFEST and MGGA in Malaysia among others.
The film also won several awards, including the “Gautam Buddha Award” in the Best Feature Film category at the 5th Nepal International Film Festival. It also won the “Special Jury Mention” in the “Best First Film” category at the 7th Jaffna International Film Festival in Sri Lanka.
