US President issues statement after Rittenhouse discharge

(MENAFN) US President Joe Biden has shown his approval of the jury’s resolution in Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial and asked them to avoid “violence and destruction”. Nonetheless, the president noted that the judgment caused him anger and fear.

On Friday November 19, a jury in Kenosha ruled that Kyle Rittenhouse was innocent in the murder and irresponsible endangerment allegations that took place as a result of his shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, in addition to the harm to Gaige Grosskreutz in ‘Black Lives Matter’ protest turned dangerous in the city of Wisconsin in 2020.

Biden released a report moments after the verdict which said, “While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans angry and concerned, including me, we have to acknowledge that the jury has spoken.”
